The Factor One with eTap and a set of Enve 4.5's would do me just nicely. The Colnago does tighten the lycra shorts but the gold bits are too 'in yer face' for me.

A bike that fulfilled all that I require of it.
Until then I will have to buy bikes for specific purposes.

I've got that exact Canyon and it's definitely great bike, light, stiff and comfy. The only negative is the Reynolds wheels are twitchy as hell in cross winds

This is my dream bike I got last year

The Italians do seem to have a knack for getting it right, the Colnago C64 is a wonderful looking thing but this just tops it for me

I’ve always had a thing for Colnagos, so a C64 something along the lines of this would do it for me

Whilst they've come down to an almost real-world £7k from £10k, even if I had the money I couldn't spend that much on it, I think even if I had a bit of a windfall I couldn't spend that much on it - the lower-spec bikes that cost half as much wouldn't be any less fun or fast for me, but still, look at it! I might be a bit daft to say 'lottery win' for something that's 'only' £7k but it would have to be a lotto win or a massive jump in salary to buy it over the 'cheap' £3500 one.

I'm not into MTB's, but that looks sensational.

I'd also be half tempted by the Hope HB-160 someone mentioned above.

For Racing

(Though Id consider a Scott Plasma or Cervelo P5 six biggrin)

So I can do some more off road than I currently do!

For popping to the shops (Single Speed with brake, not Fixie!)

For riding with friends.

Whole lot would be under £25K.

I already have my dream mountain bike so thats covered already :-)

I have a bit of a thing for the old steel pinarello montello and bianchi campione del mondo.
Newer stuff would be a colnago c60 and a bianchi specialissima.

Bikes are affordable, even the top end ones. I could go out and splurge £8k on one if I so wished, but I'm not sure any push bike is worth that, when I used to buy new motorbikes for less than that just a few years ago.

That said, if I was looking to buy a dream bike, I think i'd need several. Something Ti like a Reilly Spectre or Gradient with a couple of sets of wheels, probably a new Genesis Zero team, not yet out but the paint job is stunning. I'd maybe also look at a top end Cannondale slate for soaking up the bumps on mixed stuff.

Probably a custom Stainless Demon Frameworks, likely setup as a disc braked gravel bike.

However, once the decision was made (and budget in place!) to go for 'dream bike' then I expect I'd take at least six months figuring out exactly how I'd want it.

Yeti SB5 - just love way Yetis feel lively up and down hill
Renovo John Day - idea of a gravel bike with a wooden frame intrigues me

My wife has a version of that Canyon in the original post (albeit the womens specific one) and its a really really really nice looking bike.

Makes my SL5 Tarmac disc look old.

Road bike wise, I think for me at the moment I would really like to upgrade to the SL6 Tarmac Disc, or if they don't become available more easily some time soon I keep thinking about the Wittson Illuminati

Mountain bikes, the SB100 already mentioned looks fantastic, as does the new Pivot trail 429 which makes a nice change for one of their bikes imo. Another one I would love to try would be the Zerode Taihwha
