Hi all,

Took the front wheel off, my 2018 Voodoo Canzo and cannot for the life of me figure out how to put the quick lock back together. I've had a quick nose online and in the owners manual but can't find anything.

It seems that when I put the wheel back on and put the spindle through the wheel to secure it, I can tighten the quicklock nut and the spindle is still able to be pulled back out. Have attached some pictures, can anyone tell if I'm missing pieces? I'm new to this so don't be too hard on my stupidity biggrin

Well.. you've taken that apart more than you are supposed to smile

Can't help on reassembly, but this is how it should operate

Thanks for that, big help.

So it looks like theres a rubber O ring missing and a piece of plastic tubing from inside the axle.
No sure where it went as nothing fell off anyway when I took it off.

Cheers again!

Not sure if you've resolved this yet but from your first picture it looks like the locking collar hasn't been pushed though enough to expand and actually grip when you close the lever?

Just added an image of mine.

After watching videos and seeing diagrams of the QLoc taken apart I'm pretty sure I'm missing parts, so I've just gone ahead and ordered a new one.

But however I put the axle through there seems no way of it catching so that it locks in place.

Hi,
I am also missing the plastic tube out of the Q loc Size 15 x 100mm .
Any ideas of the dimensions of the plastic tube so I can make a replacement ?

Thanks

The plastic tube is a critical part and is required to take up the distance between end of the tube and the spring which in turn puts pressure on the plastic castle section fitted to the female split cone.
You could actually have a longer spring instead of the plastic tube but the plastic is probably cheaper and weighs less than a full length spring.

The spring basically puts load onto the female split cone and forces it against the male plastic cone in the thumb wheel and causes it to split open and creates a larger diameter than the hole in the axle enabling the Qloc axel to be locked in place.

ps
It did take me a few hours to get my head around the mechanics of this.smile

And I still need to know the dimensions of the plastic tube.

Hope this helps
