A bit of progress today

Shortened front axle fitted. Sealed Tange bottom bracket & crank installed along with chain.

Cannot decide on colour of the brakes though - Silver or Gold? & pedals? Silver with black cages or gold cages

Hutch is now complete and rideable. Will swap parts out for more genuine Hutch items as they become available

I've purchased another frame from 1984 so onto my next build :-)

Sweet!

Hutch Bear Traps, that takes me back! I see they are 320 quid a pair at Alan's, not as pricey as I expected TBH!

hehe About that slippery slope...

Looks great by the way. You gonna share what you've gone for?

I don't know any that are for sale in the UK. For reference this one here: https://imgur.com/a/cFLwH sold for £1600 last year

Another fully built chrome one went within 3 hours, 4 years ago for £2,600

Survivor frames around £250 or so.

Freshly powdered f&f in decent nick are around £600-£700

Candellara: Flicking through that gallery reminded me that I have a chrome 1" Hutch Donut in my garage. Could do with a clean and a polish as it's a bit scratched, but you're welcome to it for a donation to DEBRA? DM me if you're interested.

Cheers Ben. I'll send you a DM - that'd be much appreciated

The children have already eyed up the Hutch for ragging it around the local skate park and I fear it's a bit too nice for that so I've bought an old freestyle frame from 1984 that will be suitable I think as it won't matter too much if it gets knocked about

1984 Aero Reflex frame - perfect chrome NOS but the odd little mark

So, the 1984 Aero Reflex is slowly coming together.

Headset, stem and bars on. Haro vintage forks fitted. Skyway Tuff 2's with Panaracer freestyle tyres

Colour scheme will be blue, chrome & white
