Can I ask who did your bike fit please?
Abolutely - it wsa Clement at Rides HK. He uses both reutul and actual knowledge and understanding - I can recommend him but whether he's worth a trip to Kowloon Tong in Hong Kong rather depends on where you're starting from!

I dropped my seat by about an inch

Goes to show that just minor changes can have a major influence
Is this a serious post? An inch is a MASSIVE difference, I can tell the difference of a 2 or 3mm seatpost change.

Worrying.
Serious post yes! As I said in my opening post I'm not a competitive rider so worrying it's most definitely not.

I have ligament damage in my right ankle, right shoulder issues, lower back and hip issues, and left rib issue causing impingement, all from legacy rugby injuries. As cycling is non-impact it's a fantastic way of keeping fit outside of running and strength gym training.

For me, Bike fit 100% of the time, and a two-yearly follow up, along with a cleat setup when i change brand/model of shoes. It makes sense as i am spending 8-10 hours in the saddle during a ride nowadays.

No point struggling with injury or niggles nowadays.
