I bought (by accident) a 52t for my Ebike (doesn't need an eagle, let alone a 52t) from Ali express with chain for less than half of what an NX cassette on its own is and it took 2 weeks to arrive.
Are you saying that's a genuine SRAM cassette and chain from AliExpress? I would keep parts in the garage that I know I'm going to need if they're cheaper and genuine...Brake pads, cassettes and chains, for instance, I buy when I need currently. If they were cheap enough to keep in stock, that would be helpful.
AliExpress has so far only been for things where the quality is less of an issue, so I would happily buy bottle cages, but not brake pads, for instance.

Nice THOK. My brother has one on order after a test ride he took a few months back. Lead times are mad at the moment. How are you getting on with it?
I had it for a year now… very impressive eMTB. Highly recommended. The tech is approaching maturity and standardization should bring the crazy prices down.It is soooo much fun to ride twice the speed through the tough terrain or rip uphill to enjoy downhill on the other side.
I have new eMTB on order Ducati TK-01-RR. Lead times are crazy, in the meantime I have the MIG-S to enjoy.
Scott Spark 930. I’ve started to ride on more challenging terrain again & my XC hard tail was not great over some of the routes. This thing is great, plush suspenders, dropper & the Scott lockout system that works great. I’m ok with the cheap SRAM tackle so far although the wheels & cassette are going to be swapped pretty soon. The bike was an eBay bargain tbh, virtually brand new & unmarked.

I was wondering why your Lordship had stooped to entering Decathlon.

He wants to do whatever common people do..."

Are these Bianchi bikes in this colour all the rage at the moment, keep seeing them everywhere and I thought it would be the kind of bike you wouldn't see often. http://www.jakesimpkin.org/ArticlesResearch/tabid/...

Funnily enough I was driving through Windsor last week and saw what I think was the same bike being wheeled along by a chap who I assume had just collected his kids from school. Nice looking bikes regardless.AJB88 said:

Pretty iconic brand and the Celeste colour is as famous as the yellow and pink of the most famous jerseys! Its a colour that Bianchi are believed to have created.AJB88 said:

Bianchi aren’t the only manufacturers offering the Celeste colourway. I’ve seen a few Spesh and Trek ( particularly) with the same colour, and know at least a couple of people who have had their bikes sprayed or wrapped in Celeste, who aren’t on Bianchis either. You won’t see my bike, in my spec, in Celeste and black, very often, ( XR4 with full campy 12 speed S.R. EPS)I’ve only seen mine and one other, in over a year.Edited by Maximus_Meridius101 on Tuesday 22 June 12:26

How annoying was trying to show pics of a colnago v3 but instead it’s a link, anyone help ? Built this from frame up and been on the road a couple of months now. Don't think I've shared it before. Intense Primer 275 with Fox Factory shock, DVO Sapphire D1 forks, Mavic Crossmax wheels, XT shifter and mech, Cane Creek eewing cranks with Absolute Black oval ring, Hope brakes (4 pot front, 2 pot rear and 180 fr, 160 rr floating rotors), Nukefroof carbon bars and stem, One-up dropper post and Ergon saddle.
Great trail bike that climbs really well.

Cranks must have cost more than the frame is worth
Lovely things.
They were pretty pricey for sure, but I got a "deal" on them. Was looking to spend no more than a couple of hundred on some new cranks, then these popped up and I had to have them. Suffice to say, they blew my budget right out of the water. They are worth it though. Beautiful things. Well made, very light and very stiff. If they scratch you can rub them with a scourer and they come up like new again. Assuming bottom bracket "standards" don't change these cranks will be coming over to any new bike build that I do in the future. Same as the Hope brakes. They've been on three bikes now.Lovely things.
Ti cranks? Check out Tom Sturdy's 3D printed cranks, absolutely gorgeous. Based in Frome, Somerset.
