The "Show off your bike" thread! (Vol 2)
Discussion
Well after last months disasterous failure of my old specialized secteur, my new bike arrived this weekend.
The old bike after the rear derailleur snapped:
New bike:
A Dolan GXA. Thankfully it was already on order before the old bike failed, but still had 3 weeks with no wheels. It took 2 months from ordering to arrival, but it's been worth the wait.
First ride today and thoroughly impressed. Was a good 3kph faster on the Dolan over 35km. Looking forward to plenty more rides this summer.

I used to have the same wheels, what hubs are they running?Gin and Ultrasonic said:
They're the new(ish) DT Swiss 240 exp hubs. Already been the subject of a safety replacement of one of the ratchets, but seem to be working fine for me before that, and with the new ratchet in. They're loud enough that I can save the 25 grams a bell would add
Nice. Very nice.Maximus_Meridius101 said:

That picture was taken in the ‘resident’s Lounge’ part of operation overlord was planned in that room by Churchill and Eisenhower, and the grand staircases of the Titanic ( and Olympic ) were designed as a copy of the main ‘grand staircase’ in the building.
A friend lived there for a year in 2011, I really liked how they had redone it into flats, including keeping the original mural on the wall within his flat.http://www.jakesimpkin.org/ArticlesResearch/tabid/...

It’s got a lot of the original building’s features retained, and because it’s not ‘new build’ there’s no danger of getting the councilistas moving in to ruin your life. It has got a whole lot of character, which is why I’ve decided to invest in a place in there ( as soon as the lender’s surveyors stop messing about). Anyway, back to bikes It looks lovely in the sun.
The winter / mucky bike has had a new saddle, so worth a photo!
