2017 Emonda, still the sweet spot for me, crazy light and still looks great to these eyes.

Picked up a 2004 Balfa BB7 downhill bike last week. One of the original high pivot bikes.

Ordered this today. One of the lucky 600.

I had an Extra Burner 40 years ago so this is the peak of my MLC smile

Not sure when I’ll get it but hopefully in time for my 53rd birthday in May.

I've decided to have a proper crack at racing again this year (time trialling). To spur me on I decided to build up a new bike. Nothing wrong with my Argon 18 but had a "new bike" itch. So, I built this. Drivetrain from my Argon a mix of Ultrega and Dura Ace Di2, wheels my old disc and a Zipp 808 I picked up for a good price (I'm musing whether to sell my collection of other front wheels as I never did swap about just carried them all to races pointlessly). Super swanky bars were a bit of an indulgence. Frame was bought lightly used with a Ceramicspeed BB and the standard Magura hydraulic brakes. These seem great and are a lot easier to fiddle with than typical TT bike cable brakes.

LOVELY!
... and it that's your workshop, I'm *VERY* jealous!

Great looking machine that, very jealous of a Spain trip too!

I've just placed an order for a very tasty Bird Aether 9C on the C2W scheme which I'll get in April - can't wait!

Niiiiice!

Love these, my mate had an Appalache Real and I was always super jealous of it even though I had a Sunday at the same time. I'd love someone to re-manufacture one as a mullet with modern geo cloud9

Thanks! The Appalache's are really nice, they seem even rarer than the BB7s now. They were shorter than the BB7s also which seems odd looking back. Always wanted a Sunday too, I still have a 7 Point frame lying around (the 7" freeride version of the Sunday), you can actually see the headtube on the left in the pic above.

And a modern take on it would be great, the geo is probably the main drawback from these older frames. Although this thing is even heavier than I expected it to be!

Wow, there’s a lot going on there.

I’m sure it’s fast though.

If you like Sundays you'll like this https://www.pinkbike.com/news/iron-horse-sunday-re...

That's the sort of effort I'd love to see someone put into a BB7/Real update... All it'd take is someone handy with CAD, a CNC shop and a visit to Frank the welder.......

New road bike, first time with di2. Bit of a step up from my 9 year old Cannondale CAAD8.

Giant TCR Advanced Pro frame with Di2 group set and Ultegra C50 wheels. I’ve taken the plunge and gone tubeless as well. Beautiful colour, one of those that looks different depending on the light.

I spy an Azonic DS1 behind!

Fantastic frames, I had one with Rockshox Judy XLC triple clamps on it and it was much loved till it was stolen in Bristol frown

Your one with the shiver upside down forks looks stunning. Any more pics of it?

My norco, I did want a SC Bronson but it didn't happen. I was super limited with choice, having to buy through the Halfords C2W scheme. This was the same money with twice as good spec.

Pretty pleased with it by all accounts. Rides well.

Hah that’s been stood in the dining room for the last two weeks and I’d not noticed that. Will fix before I ride it :-)
