My Cannondale SuperSix HiMod.This is the bike I use for the majority of the spring/summer. It’s the 2017 Team Bike with a Dura Ace Di2 groupset, Zipp 302’s (I sold the Mavics it came with) & these bikes come fitted with carbon everything as standard. The chain set is quite a fancy piece of kit & sell separately for £1000 which is ludicrous really. I bought the bike in the sale with a healthy discount as rrp was the same as a Dacia Sandero & that was never gonna happen. This incarnation of the SuperSix is really impressive, they are comfortable, stiff, light (6.5kg), fast & with a horizontal top tube they look the part. It’s a shame I bought this after I packed up with the racing as I suspect it would’ve been brilliant.

One of the best features on an already good looking bike.

Forgive the ignorance, but the cable running up the seat post to (what looks like the saddle) is for...?

That's an awful paint job...look at how the topcoat has reacted with the primer! Sand it off and start again...whistle

I have a Pinarello Fixie in the garage bought under the guise of 'Ideal to ride out with our daughter'. The Gravel Bike that joined it 2 years later also used that reason to bolster its importance on the acquisition order.

Yes, totally. We had a Doctor (GP) riding with us....even he asked about the bike before checking me over!!

'Luckily' my hand took the impact saving the bike. Skin repairs quicker than Carbon etc....

My 2013 Condor Super Acciaio. It’s built from Columbus steel tubes & has a Sram Red groupset & Zipp 202’s. it doesn’t get ridden so much these days but I’ve decided to take it away on holiday with me so it was rescued from the loft & given a once over. It rides beautifully, weighs a reasonably svelte 7.5kg, feels fast, in fact I’ve still got a KOM from the sprint on my old chain gang route on this thing (with a few pro scalps to boot) so it’s no slouch. The ride quality is really good, super smooth, it kind of glides along. These Condor frames are quality items & not too expensive either for a steel frame that’s built in Italy. I was poised to sell it a few years ago but I’m glad I held on to it.
Good on you for not selling it - you'd have regretted it. A fabulous looking bike!!

I totally agree.

He even messaged me the following more to make sure the bike was ok.
Then a second message 2 mins later asking about my hand, arms and ribs.

Morning all,

I'm new here. Recently (in the last year) started getting back into mountain biking.

Did a fair bit when I was much younger, then had a few years away from it, then got back into it a bit, was riding a Kona Coilair Supreme for a year or so, then for various reasons didn't do much for a while.

Last year I picked up an old Kona Caldera for cheap, and spent a lot of last summer messing around on it:

And a few weeks ago picked up this, a 2016 Specialized Stumpjumper Carbon Comp:

Joined the local mountain bike club and been having some good fun on some of the local trails.

The Stumpy probably wants a new cassette and I want some new pedals, I'll probably flog the Kona and find something a bit more appropriate for riding to work and doing some cross country touring, been looking at the Scott Sub Cross range.

Anyway, hello!
