I’m sure you used to be able to see others riders, but everyone blank.

I’ll go public with my opening choices. Most are fairly obvious, but also went with Cavendish as I’d love to see him do well. Had to compromise a bit with Wright and Bakelants to meet budget but thought perhaps they could be break away surprises out of the 6 and 7 credit rider options.

I wish I’d gone double points with JA instead of MVDP today. Solid enough start though (Ds-Jsy).

I had similar thoughts to you If I hadn’t gone Cavendish, with Hirschi, Bissegger and had o.friele lined up also.

Tough judging it with the budget.

Mighty impressive from MVdP.. should have stuck with my instinct he’d do something like this. He is a beast!

Not sure where and when CAV disappeared. Not confidence inspiring but will hold out another day to judge his form.

Gutted Sagan went down.

Going to be a bit more clinical with choices going forward.

Pretty brutal race so far.

So far lost 2 team members to crashes, forgot to update for today and surprised to still be doing OK.

Quite a brutal start to the tour versus last year, probably the worst start I can remember.

You could see him get stuck behind the Madouas crash, then when everything kicked off he obviously took the decision to save himself for another day, with Demare falling yesterday too its definitely open to him today. DQS haven't been too badly affected by the crashes so should have a full sprint train, unlike pretty much everyone else.

His chances of a stage have gone up drastically. Sagan will be bruised, Ewan out, Demare bruised, all helps his cause.
