If someone is shown as OUT, do you need to replace them immediately to score points the next day or will it still allow the rest to score?

I know if you’ve got a blank space then you won’t score.

My hand has been maybe forced early to commit to a change but had hoped to wait until last 3 stages to be sure of choice.

I think it will allow for continued point scoring, but can’t find something written to confirm it.

In fact, thinking about it logically.

If you get riders going out and you don’t have credits available to change them, it would be a bit unfair to effectively take you out the competition.

I think it just means you’re running short of people to gain points if several riders went out and no credits left.

I know leaving a slot unselected definitely Dq’s you from next stage points.

Played it safe and swapped. Rolled the dice on rider, hopefully plan works.

However, a warning about not scoring only appeared once I’d sold rider, so would have likely been okay leaving a rider who is ‘OUT’ on the team in terms of general scoring.

I well and truly ballsed up yesterday by forgetting to swap my Stage winner bonus to Pogacer until 12:03, by then it was too late and I was stuck with Powless with double points, racking up a mighty 53 lol.

Anyway, I've changed it to Pog today, because he has to go for it, he has no more time left it's go big or go bust because he ain't making 2 minutes up in the TT.

I hope POG can keep things interesting. He has to make an impact today to stand any chance of doing anything on the TT.

Got one more swap to make, slotting in another sprinter for Thursday possibly and hopefully good points in Paris.

Still close in the league, need good scoring for final few days. This has consumed far too much of my time!

Hoping to hang on to third smile

Gone for Wout for double points today, no doubt he's gonna be there or there abouts come the end. I also swapped out Powless and bought in Groenewegem for today because he should be near the front at the end.

13943 points were enough to win our league last year and that’s already been surpassed with two to go….

Found myself in London this week. Gone out to enjoy final stage.

Think it is looking good, but holding my breath and hoping I’ve done enough to secure the PH yellow jersey!

Apologies for bugging up the atmosphere! It’s usually busier than that!

Third for me, I think I would have been closer to the top if I didn't forget about the first two stages and had a poor double points rider set. Overall quite fun though, will have a go again next year.

2022 TdF complete…

Genuinely chuffed with that! Finally taken yellow after a couple of podiums. I invest far too much of my time mulling over riders and making decisions. Cut out silly mistakes of previous years.

First few stages surprised me with GC getting in on the mix so aggressively. Van de Poel was biggest disappointment and I should have swapped him out far earlier. Cost a swap and used a lot of credits choosing the initial eight.

TdF has been great this year. Look forward to the fantasy next year. Such a shame Giro and Vuelta don’t have a fantasy league also.

Nearly every stage race has a fantasy league, just about what provider you use. Velogames, Pro Cycling Stats too, I'm sure there are others. Vuelta is certainly supported on a few platforms.

Cheers, I’ll do some digging.

Hopefully they’ll be as slick as this version runs.
