No decent photos and Photobucket is being what it is, st uploading my meagre efforts so no views.
Now, the world looks lovely in Cheshire (Impressive Daffodil displays aplenty) at the moment but after 30 odd miles of it I was fking hating every moment
It was cold, it was windy and it smelt of st, not normal common, all garden turd smell but the fermented output of a legion of domestic swine, spread with impunity over most of the arable land I passed, it transcends your typical country smell and permeates your brain.

Epic day today out here in Madeira. Three Enduro World Tour stages back-to-back. One nasty crash (my right leg is no longer the same shape as it used to be). Lesson to be learned... drink beers at the bottom of the trail, not at the top before you head down an impossibly steep and rocky cliff-side trail. I will (probably) mend in time, but my Garmin is smashed to bits. Hey ho.

Ouch, sounds painful! Hope the bike is ok...Looks a great place to ride.
First proper ride on the new forks today and it is a night and day difference. Went through the same really rough dried mud trail probably a mile long, same one as a few weeks back and the front end was way more composed. Rebound was set to the middle which I found to be perfect. Brilliant little upgrade. I have however got another pinch flat on the front. The same trail as the last time it happened so it seems my stock tyres are too thin perhaps for hard riding across this sort of surface. I have ordered new tubeless tyres and valves as am fed up with this! I lose the tanned wall of the current tyres but that's a compromise I'm happy to make lol.
Pics:
Starting the day with a sunrise...
All the way to Warsash Marina along the coastal-run trails:
Loop back round another route via the single narrow trails running along The Solent which offers some sweet views and stopping points to take it all in:
Some random photos along the same route:
There is a downhill section along the single track trail there, can get some speed on and we were hauling. Something that wasn't there before was a bit of wire fence sticking out, it caught both of us and my glove was torn. It was cold today so wore the thick gloves and am so glad I did because thin one or even no gloves would have torn my finger apart
