NOW as I cant fit the battery on the crossbar, I am looking for a rear rack that can fit these pigging big batteries....Plenty of the slim ones for the rectangular batteries around...
A person on another forum solved this problem.

Notice there is a piece of plywood (painted black) screwed to the top of the rack, then the battery cradle screwed to the plywood.

They would work, plenty of video on Youtube on how to fit them.

Just a question of how to push the gear lever and the brake lever together so both can be used. I have looked everywhere for an actual rear rack for the big battery but cant find any. I guess Mr Heath Robinson mindset will be in force! Again TYVM.

I'm not sure what you mean, they just push up next to each other.

Here is my bike with a Revoshifter on the right side, snug up against the brake lever.

I can take more pictures if you like but you can see them fitted to bikes in Halfords etc.

Bit of an update, coming upto 1600 miles ish trouble free...

Id been charging in the office as battery was obviously weaker for uphill return journey.

Annoyingly, my workplace pat tested all items and stupidly I volunteered the charger. It failed the PAT test, the earth was excessive but was still ok, and the guy passed it anyway but my work don't / can't let me use it as they know it's over the limit (failed)..

I've contacted yose power, who asked me to provide evidence that it failed, to which I replied prove to me it meets UK standards.

They have offered me a £25 refund, so I guess it doesn't comply.

Sooooo, I guess I need a new charger.

How on earth do I get one that's ensured to comply?
