Morning all,

I fancy a new road bike for summer, keep the eBike for winter and commuting. I want something affordable (<£1500), 1x, hydraulic with a simple design.

I really like the Planet X Kaffenback. Any recommendations that are similar?

Just had a quick look at it then, I'm sure it was on sale earlier this week. Does anyone know if their introductory 10% off offer applies to full bikes?

Thanks

I like my Kinesis R1 which fits all your criteria except the cost has gone aliitle over £1500 now...
...although you'd get LOT more for your money at the moment buying second hand. GCN just been sponsored by/promoting a site I'd not heard of before seems to have a lot for sale on Buycycle, 1453 results with filters on £1000 - £1500. Otherwise the usuals might be fruitful.

Well I've ended up with the Kaffenback but I do really like that Genesis CDF 10. It's 2x but also available for £200 cheaper than I've just paid! Ah well, I've always liked Planet X

Should have it by the 8th.
