How do you get on with the cage-less water bottles?
They get a mixed review from me. They're very cheap, light and look so much better than a cage which got me to buy them. In use they're very secure, can be quite difficult to replace especially when empty as they need a good firm push to get them seated and it's not quite the effortless high cadence replacement I'm used to with a normal bottle, but I reckon that'll become better with time. The worst bit is the drinking valve which is pretty crummy and a bit leaky, unfortunately I haven't found any other lids which fit yet either. With a Camelbak bite valve I'd love them. And if running a tri-spoke wasn't hipster enough, here's my latest toy.

This is mine. I just bought it from eBay for £10 as it was around the corner from where I work. With a bit of effort I think it should clean up ok and make a decent pub\canal bike.
This is the bike now it's finished, it rides pretty well and I'm happy with the way it has turned out.Minemapper said:
So new I haven't fitted pedals or removed reflectors yet. Not as posh as many on here, but I like it.
That is a good looking bike and very practical, I enjoy riding my cross bike more than my road or Mtn bike. Bit of green laning and bridleways, you can always jump off and carry it if it gets too extreme.Gassing Station | Pedal Powered | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
