Picked up my first road bike today - Cube Attain Pro Disk and took it for a 10 mile spin over lunch thumbup

I had given some thought to the deal Wiggle are currently doing on the carbon version however wanted to buy locally.

Will be interesting to see how I get on with it. I've only had Hardtail MTB's previously and it's also a first with clipless cycle shoes!

Umm... Don't see any roads in this pic!
Seriously, good luck with the pedals. I'd love to say I hope you don't go down, but I think every body does once or twice. You have my sympathies for your impending injuries. Stick with it though, they are worth it.

I thought that as I wrote the reply wink I was standing on the road when I took the picture albeit I live in rural west Sussex!

The shoes are interesting and it's simply practice I'm sure - I have been warned by the shop and a number of peddling mates I will take a tumble but try NOT to do it at the traffic lights!

That looks good! I hope you enjoy those wheels. I've got no hope of getting onto 50mm carbon rims anytime soon.

(But the bike still looks better in RED!!!)

Lols, cheers - I can now confirm that the wheels are awesome! Dead blingey and obviously worth a handful of watts even for a modest motor like myself! smile
