10 days from ordering to delivery... I'm very happy with my new purchase!! woohoo

I like the bottle cage - what brand/model is that?
Hi Nammy, sorry for the slow reply, I've only just seen this!!

Its Canyon own bottle cage, you get them cheaper with the bike.

Bottle Cage

Bottecchia Columbus steel frame with Cinelli seat post, stem and bars, and an original Bottecchia headset badge.
The rest of the components are "functional" Campag/Shimano STI, compact chainset, and wide range 10sp cassette to compensate for my lack of ability as a cyclist.

The paint and decals are replicas of Greg LeMond's 1989 Tour win. The one where he caught and passed Laurent Fignon in the final TT using controversial Tri bars on his Bottecchia.
Ottavio Bottecchia was the first Italian to win the Tour, but died mysteriously... links to the Maffia and opposition to the Mussolini regime were attributed to his death, along with an angry farmer who caught him stealing apples! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ottavio_Bottecchia

First proper ride on the Canyon today and very impressed, great balance of speed and comfort. The Bianchi stills rules them all but until the forks are replaced due to their current recall debacle it's on blocks and with the wet Autumn weather starting to show it's hand it might well be spring before it's next outing. The Giant has done faithful service but i'm putting it out to grass i.e. bolting it to a turbo and getting a Zwift setup built.

Just had this arrive for my wife. First bike we have had with eTap. Makes my Di2 Tarmac look old frown

And I grabbed this (Frame) the other day to replace my Epic.

The Canyon looks fantastic, it really looks like a 21st century bike.

I agree - they've got the lines just right and it seems to really suit disc brakes. Great colour too.

What manufacturer is the frame?

I like the shape of it. I reckon it is colour sensitive and that scheme isn't the one I would choose

I'm seriously considering one of these for a new build next year. They look pretty good value and I like the fact there won't be many around. So very interested to hear any feedback on the frame, comfort, stiffness etc?

Have only ridden it around town so far, and the seat is about 2cm too high for me (need to cut the tube, but its not mine)

will take it out this weekend and report back.

The Canyon is their Endurance CF SLX8.0 - all stock with Shimano Ultegra and Reynolds Assault Wheels. Only change is I swapped the Conti GP4000 for Vittoria Corsa's as they just feel better (and look better!)

The Bianchi is an Infinito CV 2017 model with standard spec defective front forks which the Italians are making a right balls up of replacing.
Campagnolo Super Record gears, shifters and brakes (50-34 compact main ring, 11-29 cassette)
Campagnolo Bora 50 Ultra Wheel set
Zipp SL70 Carbon bars and Stem
Zipp Carbon Seat Post
Vittoria Corsa Tyres
