Are you local to Peterborough? I'm sure the 'PACE' (Peterborough All-Terrain Cycle Enthusiasts) Facebook group do a Hunstanton run, even if you didn't ride with them they're super approachable and could probably advise on a suitable route.That's my dad, sadly no longer with us.

Picked up a cheap secondhand DMR 24 inch wheel jump bike. Been wanting one for a while after seeing all these new tarmac pump tracks being built (search for Velosolutions).
Been out once for a quick blast, pump tracks are bloody hard work! Great fun though and it'll get easier once I learn to maintain momentum better.

New (to me) ride. No idea what model it is, but obviously a Ciocc. Bought from an Italian mate who brought it over to the UK about 5 years ago having bought it in Italy, he seems to think it might have belonged to a junior Italian race team.
Ciocc seems to have been bought out and now rebrand generic Chinese frames but frames from before then seem to be well regarded. Carbon fork and rear triangle, ali everything else and a mixture of Campagnolo Centaur and Veloce groupset. Mavic Ksyrium wheels and hubs. Rides really nicely, nimble and keen to climb.

You may find that you won't get let on the track with a road bike, there are some key differences with track and road bikes, mainly crank length and bottom bracket height in order to avoid pedal strike when banking, something you don't want to do!

Luckily she got the pram she wanted so all worked out ok in the end!
The 105 would have been than enough bike for me but that model at the time only came in Brown or Matte Black and I wanted something different.
Does make dressing to match awkward, real 1st world problem there.
It has however converted me to disc brakes completely though, the mechanical Ultegra is superb and the general feel and handling is full on super bike. My only regret is I didn't hold out for the aero edition, but I don't ride fast enough to justify that.
Next bike will be a long way down the line, though it wouldn't be much different, DI2 or eTap maybe, though I may sell the PlanetX for a track bike in the short term.
