Like that. Wide range 1x with hydro discs and decent tyre clearance is definitely the way forward!

Trying a new Fox 36. Very stiff and plush

New TT bike bought just in time for the season to end hehe

I have the Pro 0 and absolutely love it whether it’s the local club 10 mile TT or an Ironman, quickest, stiffest bike in my collection by a long chalk, climbs better than my Venge as well. You won’t regret buying that.

CX season.

Shame the rider is not quite the pedigree of the bike!

Cheers.

Yeh did the local 10 two weeks ago and other than the saddle nose slipping down, hard to gauge torque on the seat rail clamp, it went well. Bike's got far more up its sleeves than me at the mo hehe

In a similar vein, I posted this the other week....

Following a front to back strip and rebuilt it now looks like this....

Front hub stripped, cleaned and regreased.

Headset stripped, cleaned and regreased.

Bottom bracket replaced.

Stem, seat post and saddle removed from my “old” winter bike.

Front mech (tiagra) replaced with a SRAM Apex to match the shifters and rear mech.

Broken rear mudguard replaced, front done too to match.

Freewheel replaced and rear hub rebuilt.

TRP Spyres replaced with TRP Hy/Rds together with new cable inners and punters

New bar tape.

By the time I’ve sold the Spyres and some other bits that were on the bike, I reckon it’ll owe me £325, but more importantly it gives me a decent disc frame to use during winter.

Picked up this Trek Remedy 8, 2018 model yesterday, my LBS suddenly announced they were selling all stock half price so managed to grab a bargain and get it for half price for £1350. Chuffed to bits with the bike but still sad at losing a trusted LBS. Apology photo not the greatest.

New Brompton. 6 gears, +8% as standard a bit low for me. A few differences to my old one. Gear trigger is better quality, Schwalbe tyres are now standard as don’t do their own any more. I added black seatpost/bag & mounting block, my shop did a deal & I paid £120 for those extras.

New wheels today.

Otherwise known as, how to turn two serviceable cars into bike accessories.

'Scuse the mudguards but it's that time of year.

Pro 4 hubs
Sapim spokes (32 to try and save me busting any more rims or spokes)
Halo Devaura (disk) rims.
28c tubeless tyres for comfort.

Not that I'm wanting to pounce on the dying or anything but what shop was it?

As a big chap currently going through the Trek Frame Warranty Process...

What do you have there? How do you rate it?
