Currently when I go riding I have 2 watches and a bike computer all recording diffent things;
> watch 1 (Polar) = me (heart rate monitor)
> watch 2 (Suunto) = Altitude (climbs and descents)
> bike computer = bike details (distance, current speed, average speed, ride time and cadence if I'm on my road bike)

So I'm thinking of getting one computer to record all of these.

A friend has and swears by the Garmin 305.

I've got about £300.

So what are people recommendations?

I have the Garmin and use it every time I ride BUT to be honest I only use the time, current speed, distance and calories bit. I cant be bothered to download and analyse the info.

The 305 Edge looks good.

I use the 205 Forerunner which I can programme with a route before I go. I regularly ride 50 miles without a map and haven't gone wrong yet. The display is a little small.

Cadence and Heart Rate would be good but I don't know how often I'd use them after the initial thrill had worn off.
