2009 Specialized P2 Chromo

I'm trying to get back into riding after about 4 years out. I had a Specialized P3 and loved the geomometry, 8 speed drive and pretty much everything else about it.

Looking at getting a bike again and the current P2 takes my fancy. I like the simple layout and tight setup. Looks like fun and remids me of my old ride. However, I'm concerned it will be a little hardcore. More suited to dirt jumping.

I'll be looking to ride some light XC, country trails, bridleways and general cruising instead of taking the car on short journeys. Not looking to concour mountains or downhill it.

Any advice or suggestions?

TBH that bike is unsuitable for the type of riding you suggest. You would be better off looking at a Specialized Hardrock or something like that - plenty of variants to suit all requirements and price brackets.
