Could anyone be so kind to point out the differences between these 2 bikes.

I'm kind of new to this so it doesn't mean alot to me. I can tell that the brakes, gears and handlebars are different. The rest seems about the same. Does it warrant the extra £50?

Thanks.

Ones a Hardrock and the others a Hardrock Sport... if you look further down the page at the specs you can see the differences.... wink

The Sport has higher spec/better components and hence is £50 more....

Ad say no, what makes younwant to go with specialized? Out of curiosity. Same money on a older or even second hand will
get you better spec/bike have a look on pink bike for example

Just on the basis that:-

I've had a Specialized before and liked it.
Seems a decent spec for price.
Comes within budget.

I want to buy new to be honest. Any other recomendations?

Thanks,

Looking at the detailed specs, I'd say there was easily £50 worth of extra value in the Sport.
Frame's been beefed up a bit and pretty much all the components (especially the brakes) are better quality.

Surely the frame is the same on both models? Just the componentry is different.

The frame specs look different on Evans' site but that might just be Evans talking up the Sport to justify the extra cost.
