Never wear a helmet. I'll deal with the injury when it comes my way. Hasn't in 12 years though.
You my boy are a moron.

I would like to discuss the option of me taking life insurance out on you though.
Moron? Hardly, just made a choice that I'm happy with. The same as I do when I smoke a roll up. Am I a moron for doing that aswell?

Its cretins like you that have fallen off and scratched your helmet that go and preach on forums that it saved your life that do my head in and are the morons.

Away and boil yeer head. Labour lost the election, the nanny state is dead. What a bunch of boring farts, where's your sense of adventure?

Me, having fun back when mullets were in fashion. Yes, it's a long time ago, yes I look like a but check out the smile. I'm of the same opinion as the Italians, you only need a seat belt if you're a st driver wink

Helmets are for queers, faggots and Yanks.

I have also spent two months in hospital after a big bike accident so I'm well aware that st does indeed happen.

Helmet compulsion laws lead to lower cycling rates, and there have been dozens of studies that show cycling rates and cyclist injuries/deaths are inversely linked.
yes

It is a completely indisputable fact that making cyclists wear helmets and hi-vis and all the other numpty nonsense that the rest of the world manages without increases the accident rate.

I saw a study once (which conveniently I can't remember what it was called, who it was by or where it was based) that argued that competent cyclists (able to ride in a straight line) whilst wearing helmets were given less space by other road users than cyclists not wearing helemts and/or those who ride with that high gear waving wondering style. I can't remember the stats, but I think there is an element of truth to that.
