Im planning a trip to Chamonix and Morzine in a few weeks time... its going to be ace being back there again!

However, I need to sort some travel insurance that will cover "extreme sports" I.E Mountain biking...

Anyone have any recomendations of good value holliday insurance that actually covers throwing ones self off a gurt big mountain?

www.dogtag.co.uk worked well for me and were reasonable. Plus you get a nice dogtag TO NOT WEAR BUT HANG ON YOUR BAG. MMKAY Kids?

use this www.snowcard.co.uk

yes it says snow, but yes it does cover mtb in the alps if you chose the appropriate level.

I dont get it though.... when you look at what dogtag give you in terms of monetary value for various things, its nothing in comparison to a "normal" travel insurance policy..... what exactly do you get extra for your money.... ... ...

we use mpi brokers for our own trips.

i don't know how good they are price-wise for a one off enquiry but worth a ring maybe?
