Just got my first "real" mountain bike

Well probably not compared to some on here

Always like pissing about in the woods on a bike, don't like and never have liked road riding.

Have previously gone for the Halfords cheapy ones, usually fixed frame and <£200.

Decided to take the plunge and got myself a £550 Giant Talon II, front suspension disc brakes and the rest - what a difference!!

I hope cycling uphill gets easier - pulling my 16.5 stone of bulk up a steep woodland hill is not much fun at the moment!
