I have the first three installed on my HTC but can't decide which one is best.
What do you guys use/prefer?
I really like the interface on the phone that SportyPal uses, but I also like the ability to add geotagged photo's the Everytrail

I use Motion X or iTrail both on an iPhone 3GS.
All GPS apps are very battery hungry and you will struggle to get more than 2 hours out of them on a fully charged iPhone. I have a battery extender which is fine for Golfshot (I have a holder on my trolley) but would fall out in seconds on the bike.
Has anyone seen a lead that is male one end and female the the other so the battery extender could stay in a pocket?

I ordered a 'dock extender' cable this week. From using the iPhone running a GPS cycle app and using the external battery, this will let me put the external battery in a pocket and get 6-8 hours of app use without needing to use sleep mode. Just plugging the battery in would be asking for a vibration wrecked phone.
The cable was £17 on Amazon.

Mine lives on the bars on my MTB. I use the map function when following new trails. Its stood up to some serious stuff so far. I use the iPhone RAM mount and its pretty damn good. Very secure and sprung loaded. Together with air bouncers front and back, all seems fine.
I'd love the colour Garmin.

A mate has just mailed this to me...

That's £100 off the price of it everywhere else. Very tempted now.

nokia sports tracker for me , export the file to google earth to see it in full detail
Sport tracker is being pulled, or at least the web stuff is. They've spun out the company. If you want deeper analysis of a GPX file, I'd go with sporttracks

Can do some dead clever stuff.
I use gpscyclecomputer for my windows mobile. Its good but sometimes im out for too long and the battery is fooked so no track. When i'm home and plotting my routes i use a website called http://ridewithgps.com though which I reckon is pretty good. Allow you to put in all your gear and it will tell you how much you've used it.
