What rims/size are you fitting them to ?

I have put some 1.5 on my mum's 22mm rims high pressure fitting and they are fine at 100psi

I have a set of these for road riding on my MTB, I have only ridden about 100 miles on them (1.95's) but they have been just fine for me.

Theyre to go on my old school Marin Muirwoods with Richey vantage sports rims so 22mm probably. Front tyre i believe is currently 2.25 rear looks a litte narrower. Im thinking of going for the 1.95s to spread the or load.

If it's for a MTB get the 1.5's. You want to minimize rolling drag and noise.

By chance i stumbled upon a unused tioga city slicker and a slightly used michelin slick in a mates shed (which i then swapped for a 4 pack of lucozade sport) before a run out this morning. As we were going offroad mainlly i didnt swap them over onto mine but have just popped them on my wifes marin mtb and they look and feel a little narrow (but certainly make a huge speed difference on the black stuff). Im still favouring the 1.95s as i had a quick look at some on the rack in our local for mine as they look and hopefully will feel a little more substancial...i do get you point completely re the least resistance though Rich.
