36 inch waist at 5.8 is not L is it. I'd say that is XL in anyones book, let alone cycling terms!

Why is everyone buying Belkin kit? What did I miss?

You do know you're all going to end up on FPKW facebook page soon don't you? I wear the odd bit here and there for training but I think they only go for people with the full outfit on...
Belkins website had a bit of a sale on and with a nice healthy discount code too. So it was raided, 2 pairs of bib shorts for £20 inc delivery thank you very much smile

This was the site

I like a bit of banter, but the FKPW group on Facebook, blimey they are a bit harsh. The way some people tear people apart in team kit, its like they have committed a heinous crime! I bet most of the people going "what a fat fking prick who deserves to die" are miserable fat fckers themselves

Belkin bibs seems OK after first couple of rides, got small, the bibs seem a bit baggy and the shorts a bit tight, but great value, didnt get the jersey.

The free t-shirt is an L though, and so tight I couldn't even get it on. Fits the wife though, I think it might be a child's size!
Or give it to your favourite brother in law.

The ugly side of cycling. There are some who like nothing more than the sneer at people they perceive to be beneath them for whatever reason - the sort that love that some people can't afford Rapha.....

OK so the big lads are wearing full team kits. So what if they are a bit fan boy in their clothing taste, at least they are getting out there rather than staying at home.

No way it will fit you. It's really short as well, even if you got it on it would look like a crop top.

My Belkin kit arrived too.

I ordered XL bibshorts as I'm 6ft and 90kg. They're enormous! Basically thigh-flares. Wish I'd gone for an L to be honest, but they'll do for commuting. For the money, they feel *very* good quality though.

Headphones are pretty good considering they basically cost me minus figures!

As my new road bike will be a while getting here, I'm contemplating one of these for commuting duties:

For £120, it looks like a decent stopgap?

Does anyone have an XXL Belkin replica jersey and wants to swap for my XL? You can have my free T shirt too!

Be Careful!! I was/am after a single or fixie, I saw one that looked very similar in Toys Are Us, for £120, I had low expectations, but it was bloody awful. The wheels were so buckled (brand new) that they were hitting the frame! The bike seemed unusable! I'd expect it to weigh a tonne (it did) but most of the components were not fit to coast across the car park. I'd image the Dunlop bike the same

Seen plenty of used SS and fixies go for £60-£140 on ebay that look perfectly usable made from decent but used parts. Some even had a brand new decent drive train with nearly new wheels on a nice enough old frame for about £100

One review says it has plastic cranks rofl

Looks like an utterly terrible contraption to me, as someone else has said just get something secondhand instead.

Is it just me, or do a) all of those reviews sound like they came from the same person, and b) that that person was being paid to write them?

Not that I would suggest that such scurrilous practices take place, which of course, they do not.

I'm almost tempted to go and look at one for a ton. It flips between SS and fixie, I've got plenty of bits I could swap out, someone stop me...

Just bought a Whyte Caledonian hybrid for commuting and light trail rides / towpaths - good spec for the money and supremely comfortable - very pleased.

Also purchased some ebay special lighting - 2 x cree headlights with battery pack - not bad for less than £20, and a gimmicky rear light which shines lasers to the floor to show your cycling lane at night - again ebay special will likley last a week but it was £4!

That was what I was thinking. I have enough spares that I could probably build one myself if I could be arsed, but I can't. If any of this broke, I'd just swap off the bits with old 90s tat from my shed.

I do wish there was one in a shop that I could see...
