RE: Red Victor 3 Becomes Europe's fastest

Afraid it isn't.

It's full of pro mods who run basic mufflers and weight limits that are here not there compared to RV3.
Jean Dulamon who races in Pro Mod over here runs a car that used to race in that series. Take a look at that car compared to Red Victor.
SCSN has evolved over time and has some true street classes, Rod Burklage runs in that series and that is in no way road legal. it's a full outlaw pro mod, screw charger the lot...

Some of those 10.5 cars look less radical but not road legal I gather. That Blue Nova 64 looks great.
Can i just ask you to go and read the build thread. This will show you that the car isn't an ordinary pro mod. It's the first of a new generation of street legal cars, done to push the envelope even further than ever before...Turn7 said:
Andy, above everything you've done, I truly praise your patience with some people....
yeh,no problem me seeing whats happening worldwide. I guess they all have one thing in common no matter where they come from.(High octane racefuel etc.)Simon payne entered pro mod once in no name racing uk. Sreet legal yet alot has changed since then.Edited by dodgeomini on Sunday 15th April 12:22

LOL you edited it twice and it still doesn't make sense.dodgeomini said:
yes its sounds even more double dutch. No name racing was a class in the 90s.
re edit- by the way are you German? That name looks familiar.
No Name Racing was a club not a class, but yeah Simon Payne did the street legal pro mod thing in '97. That was the car that pretty much killed the Pro Street Eliminator class.re edit- by the way are you German? That name looks familiar.

Vaguely remember it. Was only 12. Was "sticky situation" in the No name group? Think Frost was too. Wasnt there two different groups?dodgeomini said:

No it wasn't and no i certainly wasn't!Never been in any club apart from FD clubs.
No Name racing was a group of guys from the Surrey area who at the time spurred each other on to very fast times. I knew most of them and they were good guys and racers.
Simon's car entered pro mod at a time when you didn't have to run the equipment you do now.
Mick Gould now owns the Camaro.

It would be interesting too see where those other cars had gone too. Always wanted to now where the street driven blown methanol/wilding 55 chevy had gone. That was a bit before though. Never been in any club apart from FD clubs.

I bet there is alot of differences when comparing your vehicle and Paynes from the 1990s. Wasnt his car body an all steel camaro instead of composite materials? I maybe wrong.

Firstly, congrats guys!
I've been following your builds for a few years now, and you guys do some REAL engineering. Anyone can talk big, but who else runs a street legal in the 6's...?
I have NO doubt you guys will smash the record into orbit.

Leffe, Hoegaarden?

LOL,the one that was towed by another car on the street, and the tow car was in the pic in Custom Car mag? I'm laughing so hard i'm dying here..I bet there is alot of differences when comparing your vehicle and Paynes from the 1990s. Wasnt his car body an all steel camaro instead of composite materials? Of course there are differences. It's 2012 and that was 1996.There's 16 years of progress between the two.
Seriously, you don't get it. If you can't see it from 2 years of build thread you never will.
No matter, not everyone can see it,or has to.

Some years ago I saw you on the M1 turning off to the M6 with RedVictor2 on the trailer. I was wondering if it had just broken down.Of course there are differences. It's 2012 and that was 1996.There's 16 years of progress between the two.

What's that got to do with anything? That 55 you mentioned was never driven on the street. Whoever owned it at the time tried to pass it off as one,and sent a pic into CC with it on the street. Unfortuntely they forgot about the tow car in front of it in the pic.If they'd have had photoshop in those days it would have been there friend.
RV2 was trailered to Santa Pod, like all the other SE cars were. At that level you can't go there and race a championship without spares, equipment etc. You obviously have no idea about that aspect of it, or anything about this level of car.
Do yourself a favour, you're trying to teach your granny to suck eggs here... Don't.
