Similar to Barry's incident from a few years ago where the downloads created by front and rear wings found a weakness in the chassis.

And indeed almost a repeat of Dixon's own crash in Memphis some years ago.

Lucky the other guy had already deployed his chute from drifting into the middle of the track!

I am here and saw the crash and the car was impounded by the NHRA for inspection. The reason is not yet known but the car had between 60 & 70 passes on it. All 4 tubes broke that is known. The car was on a real hard pass and the team say it would have been a 3.76 or 3.77 pass as it was it stopped the clicks at 3.86.

Update. The car has or is being moved to DSR (Don schumacher racing) so that the chassis can be carefully inspected to try to establish why it broke.
