To the best of my knowledge, none of the tracks mentioned are currently active.

North Weald was active last I heard, but as more of a street racers track than a fully fleged competition track. Mind you, it was scary enough running a Pro ET funny car there, never mind a nitro one...

They certainly ran an MSA sprint there last year.

Blackbushe was susumed by a housing estate I believe

What was the end of the track at Blackbushe is now a British Car Auctions building and large car park.

I'm sure the NDRC used to publish strip records in the NDRC mag for the various places they held events at. If anybody is REALLY interested in them, I might be tempted to look them up.

As Herb says ,just the end but in the early '70's the pits/start line( I don't know about the '60's) were at the west end where the car auctions now are, in '79 when i first raced there till the last race in '84 (?) the pits & start line were at the east/London end of the runway which is still in use as a runway as it was back then.

Yes I would be interested. In the mid Eighties at York Dragway (when I was 1 year old.) Andy Craddock I think ran 217mph? Was York Dragway part of the NDRC?

Looked at old footage of North Weald. The fuel cars at this event smoked the full quarter!

No, York Dragway was never part of the NDRC. It's always been run by the Pennine Drag Racing Club and Steve Murty.

I think you'll find that the Andy Cradock run in the Frontline Video dragster which you are talking of and which I was there to see, is actually still the track record at York.

6.61 (@ 217mph) springs to mind
