I'll try and watch it, but the reviews for the first one of the new series were not that great...

Don't get me wrong, I will watch it to see Drag Racing on terrestrial TV, but I don't hold out much hope for the rest of the programme I'm afraid.

Best bit of the show thumbup just edging Tiff's Gallardo bit.

I've always had a spot spot for the old Victor, Ventora and VX 4/90.

great bit I thought

covered pretty much everything, plenty emphasis on the fastest street car in the world, no sarcy comments about corners etc

top stuff good to see more drag racing related coverage in 'normal' TV, well done Andy

It was by far the best bit of the programme, a slightly biased opinion of course, but correct me if I'm wrong but I never heard 'drag racing' mentioned once.
Thanks for the welcome Bowler.

maybe because it's an old Vauxhall Victor built by one guy in a lock up garage,it's street legal with 2200hp,and does 0-60 in a second???
and maybe because over 500,000 people looked at the 5th gear video on You Tube??
How many cars like that do you know of then?....lol
btw, you're going to get sick of seeing it as there's lots more media attention coming soon...

Getting to know Jonny Smith was the catalyst i guess, him coming to feature the car for a mag and realising 5th gear would like it,then from that a guy that posts the clip on You Tube, then Internet sites grab it,then forums, then news feed sites etc...... i guess it's just a case of right place at the right time......
Some are saying i should milk it for all it's worth......LOL
