S2000 issues

Hi I have got a friends S2000 to sort out, last week it started to make a lot of noise from top end, also sounded like it was missing.
I have removed the rocker cover and it all looks ok, I have turned it over on the key, and a lot of oil comes up through a hole on the front of the engine by the vtec solenoid, is that normal or is that my problem

Can you post a picture of where the oil is coming from ?

Wouldn't say it was normal. Take the solenoid off and clean it

That is a weird one, I always thought that hole was blanked off down the bore. Sorry but out of my knowledge zone mate, try posting here https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-under-hood-22/ you will get an answer very quickly.
