As the title suggests, I'm exploring options to upgrade the sat nav/entertainment system on my daily driver.

The current unit is feeling quite dated, the sat nav maps are now 10 years out of date and together with the lack of iPod integration, I'm looking at options to maybe using Google Maps, mirror from my iPhone, as the sat nav and traffic warning system.

Doesn't anyone know if this is possible and if so, can recommend someone in the Southampton, Portsmouth, Guildford, Chichester area?

Cheers.

I changed the radio in my civic to Pioneer sphda-120 (i never had sat nav). It has Apple car play so gives me access to Apple maps, music, hands free etc can also play music and videos from a usb stick. The cables to connect this have been routed to the centre console and the steering controls still work. This unit is perfect for me right now but if i change it i will get one with DAB, carplay and android auto. It is possible ti fit youself but a big stripdown of the centre console is required to fit. If you are confident there are youtube videos showing how to do it but i paid for professional installation.
