Hi folks,

I am currently getting 80 miles per £10 diesel in my 2008 Accord, sometimes less. Its not the best on fuel, I would like to achieve 100 miles per £10. If i remapped it what can I expect to achieve in gain and also is there anything else i can do to increase the milleage performance. Thanks i really appreciate your views on this.

That's not doing to bad.. that'll be give or take 45-49 mpg. The accord diesel just wasn't there yet when it came out. But a remap will edge it upwards to your 100 mile goal. Biggest influence bar the map will be driving style and what I've found over the years is I'll push the car further and further on the light they always seem to have more in that a gauge will show

A remap isn’t really going to help economy.....

On a derv you get more power by adding more fuel & upping boost- thus better acceleration.

On a light throttle they tend to run very lean AFR’s- but if you use the available extra go don’t expect any improvement whatsoever
