Civic EP3 Type R Help!

Hi,

Inherited a 55 plate Honda Civic EP3 Type R from my Dad recently. Mechanically it's in very good condition. It's low mileage and he always looked after it well. I'm planning to do it up and get it back on the road (it's been standing for about 18 months) as a fun run around.

First thing that I need to do is find a replacement front splitter, as my Dad managed to run aground on a curb a few days before before he emigrated.

Having scoured the internet, the only one I've managed to find that's any better than what's already on there, is a brand new one from Hendy. They want £411 for them.

I was hoping that someone might be able to give me some advice on hunting one down, as I've not got much experience in this kind of thing.

I had the same issue with my EP3. There was a company, on eBay, that did fiberglass splitters which were about £100 and then another £125 for painting. It was a good replacement. However the fog light covers wouldn't fit in the holes.

Try looking for EP3s being broken on eBay.

What colour is it?

Is it actually damaged or just a stonechipped etc?

It's nighthawk black.

And yes - he well and truly hammered it against a curb. No chance of repairing it unfortunately.
