Tell me about the forgotten Honda, the Prelude
Discussion
Went to see one this morning:
Owned by an older chap in Wrexham, it has covered a mere 87000 miles, has a (so far) non chocolate auto box, working 4WS and the all important 2.2:
Also a stack of receipts including a record of the cam belt being changed at 60000 miles about 5 years ago. All for the princely sum of £2550. Was up for 2850 but managed to haggle hard and get a £300 reduction.
Did the 100 or so miles back home without breaking a sweat. Couple of immediate issues that I need to attend to- bit of water leaking into the boot, I think it will need some silicone sealant behind the rear lights, and I also need to invest in a double din CarPlay unit, and perhaps a reversing camera - I’ve seen the cheap eBay specials for less than £50- does anyone have any experience of these or any recommendations for alternatives?

Congrats!
I had an a imported SiR automatic - people really slate the automatic but I had zero issues with it.
I did about 18,000 miles in 10 months before selling it on for a 2k profit, to a chap that drove it down to France to live.
I often wonder how it is getting on now, whether it is still on the road or has departed
Oh and keep your eye out for a 4WS locking pin - you can’t do the wheel alignment without one as the rear end is free at all times!
