Hi David, that’ll be mine. A friend of mine would have been driving it around that neck of the woods - wheels were being refurbed.

Yes it’s one of “20”, which is really one of 16. My spyder has probably done even less miles

My car eye is still sharp as a needle.
The other 4 cars were uprated to 2.2?

987 spyder eluded me in 2011. Ducks were lined up in 2016 for a 981 though.

Credit where credit’s due, not many would know the car I bet.

I don’t think the others were updated as far as I know. I think there were rumours though. Do you know they were? The “press” car is for sale - very rarely come up.

And the spyder is a wonderful drivers’ car. Not driven a 981, but did have a 991 GT3 for a bit, but didn’t think the e steering was anywhere near as good as the non e on earlier GT3s, so sold it pretty quickly. That’s the reason I’ve never bothered exploring the later Spyders.

I only know/knew of the demo car which was Milano red I believe? I didn't realise they sold them in CW.

I think they were all CW. The Japanese version, RR mugen was available in MR.

I wouldn't confuse an fn2 and fd2

I'm sure a recall a special MR fn2 with Mugen extras, no rear seats, revised k20, etc.

981 steering is ok .
Coming out of a decent electric rack in a 200 clio would be my reference point .
Rest of the car is mega so hard to know what else to replace it for if i were too.
