B16a idle 3k rpm

Just acquired a del sol sir with the b16a. I'm familiar to a point as owned a few b16- b18 hondas in my younger days.

So cold idle, 3k rpm.
Warm idle hunting 1-2k

I had the iacv offv today and checked the tb for vac leaks. Only thing i found was a split in the iacv seal to the intake manifold.

Cleaned it up still same.

Ideas please.

Ok found the problem today just for reference purposes if anyone searches this topic.

It was the fast idle thermo valve FITV which is mounted below the throttle body. It was wound right out and seized. A quick strip down and clean and refit and all is golden.
