R32 GTR?!? Nice...

Think you'll probably get on just fine with the S then...although I'd suggest geometry adjustment as one of your first moves...

The Elise boys swear by Nitrons...think they've been mentioned on s2ki a few times...worth checking out...there's people who know more than me on there...
So do I on my 05 S2000!
But then it is not ordinary as you know wink
You can just put a decent set of coilovers and a geo on the make a difference to the S's handling. IMHO It is the one area Honda made compromises!

Hi there - I have an MY03 with the 17'' MY04 wheels and ignoring the aesthetics, it also sharpened up the front end and generaly made the car more responsive - for some that may be a bad thing as the MY04 suspension is softer and my car has become less forgiving (all things being relative) - but I love it.

Awesome, thanks for that.

Unfortunately having a spot of bother shifting the CRX so the S will have to wait a bit longer.

Nice one!

Good hunting...and check the suspension adjustment bolts out before buying if at all possible...

You dont think it would be a bit off to turn up to view a car with a socket set under arm only to start spannering away at the suspension?!!

Dont get me wrong, I would if I could. It just seems a bit cheeky!!

Yes...agreed.

Worth asking the owner though if they've done anything about it / checked it (if they've been greased in the last 2-3 years then it should be no problem at all). If not and it's >2y.o., then I'd probably do it as a last-minute check before putting a deposit down (or as a condition of sale when giving deposit?).

Even under Mfrs warranty Honda have only replaced them if the bolt has failed with the suspension OUT of alignment!!! As for after-market warranty...you've more chance of becoming PM!!!
