Had my DC2 for 5 years now and i just cant bring myself to part with the wee beast so off to storage it goes.

As it would now become a non daily drive looking at spending around £1500-£2000 just on engine tuning and wondering what you guys would recommend as "must have" tuning items within my limit.

Cheers

A good exhaust system is a great place to start, with a decent 4 branch manifold and decat pipe.

A decent set of cams, I hear good things about Skunk2 cams, I think you have to uprate the valve springs aswell if you do the cams on these engines. A professional ECU remap will be needed too.

Get over to www.itr-dc2.com a couple of chaps run racers over there, and there is a lot of knowledge. You may want to look up Nebpor's posts as he runs Fireblade throttle bodies and loads of other trick kit on his road car.

I miss my Integra.

prob best place to start is suspension. not a major uprate just a refresh to bring it back to original taughtness.
New springs either oem or eibach.
New rear trailing arm bushes either mugen or oem. energy suspension are firmer and much cheaper but are supposed to reduce the rear toe in on heavy braking which makes it more stable.
OEM dampers.
spend the rest on exhaust and k&n drop in and supersprint de-cat.
and not forgeting tyres with a stiff sidewall such as the oe re010.

i would suggest,
dc sports exhaust manifold and full system
aem v2 intake (the best by miles on the market)
skunk 2 intake manifold (original is very restrictive because of boring rules and regs)
skunk 2 stage 1 or stage 2 cams( stage 1 are pretty direct replacements but the stage 2's need uprated valve springs and retainers)
aem cam gears
apexi neo vtec controller, air fuel ratio, etc etc....
after that your talking about turbo, supergharging, stroking etc etc....
there are also a few small things like mugen earthing kits and voltage stablizers.

also forgot a decent set of plugs and leads-blitz have a good range

and also a new final drive can help an awful lot, not sure of the ratio as i have an ek9 civic type r myself

try this site for some ideas www.icetronix.com they are in ireland but are uncrowned kings of honda performance.

the brakes and suspension are fairly ok but they will need uprating at some point as well

hope this helps you a bit!!!
