S2000 engine ticking...

Hi there,

I've had my s for about 4 months now. It's a 52 plate and has only done 27K.

I was wondering whether anyone has experience a ticking sound as the engine speed increases, I have searched on google and these forums and found nothing similar. It's not audible when the engine is idle, once the revs are above approx 2K+ there is a ticking sound, which increases tempo as the engine speed increases?
Just wondered whether this was normal, what with the vtec etc, or whether I need to get it to a garage before things get expensive.

Thanks guys.

All cleared up, I checked out that link (sorry not been on that one before) about engine ticking. Some scary stuff on there about new gearboxes needed at 13k miles, but as it turns out it's the injectors. Pretty common so nothing to worry about.
