Is the Jungfrau region really quiet this summer? I keep an eye on the First, Männlichen etc. webcams and it seems very quiet.

Planning my annual September trip soon. Had one of my best drives ever on the Grimsel, Furka, Susten loop last year, on a very wet and deserted evening.

My Sis lives on Lake Zurich. Best thing there is a champagne bar. Have to ask her the name as forgotten but it does (did?!) pay 25CHF and drink as much champagne as you like. Think is was Pol Roger so not bad. They did this on 2 nights of the week one being Tuesday. The other saturday!

Many vain Swiss types go in and drink a glass however we went in and stayed. Don't really remember much about it but in one of the more expensive cities of the world this had to be the cheapest night out. Pretty sure they still do it!

It's the Mövenpick wine bar on Nüschelerstrasse. I'm not sure when you went for it to be CHF 25. I first went in 2009/2010 and it was over CHF 30. It's CHF 39 these days and seems to only be on a Tuesday now - they probably got wise to the Brits ripping the arse out of it.

There's also Palavrion which does the same with their house champagne every day for CHF 45.
