Went to a bar-restaurant in Maen de Sion last week (skiing in Thyon) and found the oner had 13 modern American muscle cars in an immaculate garage below his restaurant.

Don't know if you Swiss residents know of the place but it' worth a visit and he's keen to show off his toys, all of which are used from April through October.

Oh, and the food snd wine are good too.

Glad somebody knows of them. Seemed a nice guy and eager for visitors/contact with other petrol heads.

We did swap emails so I will drop him a line although my French is non-existant so we'll have to converse in English.

BTW Thyon and Les Collons are brilliant. Looking forward to going back although sadly it will have to be next season.

Hallo,
Come back againg during late spring or late summer, 5-7 o'clock in the morning,on the passes,
mostly no police, quite a few bikers, the problems begin when you fall off the
road for some reason,

BTW lovely car :-)) but as far as I know TVR were never properly represented
here in CH and a real pity they went down :-((((

Have a nice evening

Hi Rainer.

Hopefully we may come back in late summer. The boyfriend of my sister-in-law owns an apartment so we might borrow it and drive out in the TVR rather than in a truck filled with ski gear!

Thank you for the compliment on the car; I love it and I'm glad that I managed to buy a new one before the company went down.

I don' think TVR were really represented anywhere properly outside the UK. It is a great shame the company folded. I am no businessman but I believe it was a failure of sales, marketing and management rather than a defective product.

BTW If I do come out in the TVR I will try very, very hard not to fall off the road!
