I'll be there in the M5 (and with another car (not known what yet!!)) with friends Ben/Jen/Stuart/Pete.

Anyone else going that weekend? If you see us, say hello!

We'll also be taking some mountain bikes to do the cycle route - get some photos and spectating whilst there! Hope the weather's nice.

Bodo there will be other times mate. Who knows? by next year I may have sorted the insurance on the turbo out or got a track based car, in which case you are more than welcome to a few passenger laps.

DAZ

PS - Check out the Eurohoon site. Are we staying anywhere near to where you live? If so you can join us for a few beers.

I was at Zolder last weekend. Nice place.
DON'T GO VIA ANTWERP...
We made that mistake and the roadworks on the antwerp ring road turned a 2.5/3 hour journey into a 5.5 hour journey.
I know it isn't the direct route, but our hotel was junction 20 on the E313. Maybe yours is too.

Have fun at zolder and/or the ring.

One of the big German Alpine Renault clubs is having a meeting at the ring this weekend as well.

Cheers

Good to see the PHers at the ring yesterday and today. I hope you guys enjoyed the place and make it home in one piece. It is nice to be able to put a face or two to the names. If any of you guys want an invite to orkut, we have a couple communities that may be of interest there.

Sorry I couldn't hang around but I have a kindergarten picnic this afternoon and my daughters birthday party tomorrow. Now if it is as nice tomorrow morning as ti is today, I just may sneak out before they wake up...

Forgive me for not mentioning names, my short term memory is crap! I remember Daz though for his unconventional car. Not exactly what one would expect on the 'ring bu quite comfy I'm sure!

All the best,

Ed

I was there on Saturday and met up with some of you without realising it -- Mine was the Black M Roadster and my mate had the 996 Turbo in Green.
Hope that biker was OK -- the one that was airlifted to hospital at about 2.30pm --near Adenau.
Anyone have any news of him.

The rider concerned maintained conciousness throughout but has sustained a number of breaks and fractures. He is facing a long hospital/physio marathon but should eventually be OK.

How about the other Brit biker that went down about 5pm Saturday ? I was talking to his mates when his bike came out on the truck and they realised the it was his . It really hit home how dangerous the Ring can be when that happend.
