Thankfully all involved are well and no injuries suffered apart from cars.Fingers crossed the repairs won't be too expensive.
P.S. Anyone know the chap driving the white clio with clio jet on the number plate ?

eah, it was me. You don't hang about...
That is in a 2.0L N/A Honda DC5 (260bhp) lapped round there all day long with no issues!Do you have any idea when the spa dates will be released for april 2013? (with Circuit days)
And any chance of a P-ride in that noble if you are in attendance?!
No idea with dates, on reflection they are usually around same times over the years.
No problem taking you out usually do 2 or 3 trips a year to Ring incorporating Spa now Zandvoort (great track) aswell, I'm sure we'll catch up next year.

mpressive, I reckon you'll have some fun in that punching above your weight suprising many, similar to my mate Neil who was with me, he has Red Golf GTi with 300 bhp he's on the heels of CSL's etc.

Yeah, normally average a couple of trips to the Ring each year, love Spa though, so will certainly be doing a track day there when circuit days release the dates for April (also booked to go to the F1 there for 2013) and tie in a few days at the ring prior to that! I have some more footage of your car from memory, which I will dig out when home

Well, for one example I was patiently waiting for a safe passing opportunity on a Swift through Pflanzgarten and an Italian E36 overtook me down the right on the first right hander after the big jump. Fortunately I saw him coming and was going so slowly behind the Swift that there was not any kind of issue making plenty of room to avoid any potential impact, but I'd call that pretty bloody dangerous in principle, contrary to the principle of a track day and very definitely against the rules. The video would be a great what not to do for briefings. The thing is - in my experience (of all of the DN days so far held) it isn't Italians in general that are the issue, the ones that people complain about almost always seem to be in some variety or other of 3 series BMW... The Italians in Lotus, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, and so on tend to be fine.
[Incidentally - I did mention it to Darren on the day]
Would you be the same Colin who had garage 30 next to us in the bora ?[Incidentally - I did mention it to Darren on the day]

Yeah the F1 is a must for us lot too in 2013, we are gonna stay at the Ring for 5 days or so with hopefully tourist evenings

ronic, I have just been looking through some of April to source any of yours. If I find any I'll put it up. I don't go out that much usually around 4 x 6 lap sessions. I spend more time in the Brasserie especially around lunch time

Once again great weather and great events ALL seven TVR's made it there and back without to much fuss!
I would have spent more time with you guys, but I was looking after my parents most of the time, as it is probably their last trip to the Ring/Spa, even though they came to Nurburgring 700 last summer as well.My dad took some great photos mainly at Brünnchen, and I'll eventually put some previews up in case anyone wants some full size copies.

Indeed I would - good to meet you guys. Gutted for you that the Bora had a failure so early in the day, so glad to be able to offer some pax time to at least get you out on track for a bit (I've been rendered carless before myself and I know what it is like). Bruski11 said:
Is anyone else having trouble accessing xtreme-sports-photography.co.uk website? (for the Spa photos?)
Yes, I have been trying since getting back from Spa on Thursday and it has been out of service since. I was hoping to find some good shots on there as they have done track days I have attended in the UK before and I have been impressed with the quality of their work.On the DN day it's a tad risky entering the circuit with the folks aleady on DH usually at full tilt. A point Darren makes well in his briefing. I was behind a famous ring taxi driver who got out and to the left a little early, a first I thought it was all under control but the brake lights give it away.
