Also, how would you feel about having alternate ladies/guys sessions on the track (from the point of view of covering costs/raising more money). If you really wouldn't fancy that, then please let me know.
Sounds interesting - there are a couple of girls and a lad that I've promised a run out in the Ginetta. Splitting the sessions like that (We'd need two) means that I get a go too.

I shall watch this space

How would you know about weather? You never go outside the workshop!!

I'm up for a spin, but would have to hire/borrow a car to thrash. I'm afraid my wee Golf wouldn't be up to the task I'd be trying to replay the sideways adventures I had with Ruby! November sounds good...depends how much dosh required right before Christmas, though

What sort of interest would there be in a ladies only tuition day?

Yes please.

I'd have to hire a car so the only caveat is that the day was good value for money with the hire costs taken into account.

I would definitely be interested in this - be a good chance to get to know some of you girls as well since I don't know many of you yet...

Amanda,

Joos mentioned this thread to me - I hadn't read it as it was directed at ladies.

If there is anything I can do to assist I'll be happy to try for the purpose of a charity, but I should point out here and now that I am NOT willing to wear women's clothing as others have suggested they might do. And anyway, I've lost my matching bra & panty set that I usually wear to co-ordinate with my yellow brake calipers.

You have my email - just give me a shout if I can be of assistance (but: am provisionally booked at a Donington track day on 20/11/04).

Hi Dick

Would your daughter fancy taking part.

We may now have the whole track and split it into two. The lower section for ladies only and the top for veteran drivers. Let me know if your interested.

Thanks for the offer to help. I'm looking for Marshals. I'll keep you posted.

I might be up for this if its NOT 20th November as I've something else on. I too have never done a track day before.

Walking Hormone is also keen to become a 'pre-approved' boy

As that way we would be bringing a griff and an elise.... PPS forgot to mention I haven't done many track days either so the sound of not having loads of aggresive sorts out there rather appeals to me too.

.......it's the 20th.........sorry

For the fantastically reduced rate for the track for the day, I didn't have any choice it was the 20th or the 20th.

Sorry

OK - I'm going to be boring now...

Have you got proper public liability cover in place? If not I can help you sort it.

I also volunteer to provide the proper paperwork if you like? It's very dull but you are just as likely to get sued on a charity event as not so you need to get it just as right as any other track event.

I think Calum's racing at Brands that day but if he isn't (and I'll know soon) I could come and do the sign on if you like?

You've probably already sorted all this but the offer's there.

Fancy a bit of marshalling then?

Ideally we can chop it in to 2 hour stints if we get enough volunteers...hint hint
