Guilty, was huge fun until the black flag came out. The marshals didn't want to let me out again so I spoke to the guy who did the briefing and refreshingly he didn't have a problem. Thank god!
Would've given up track days otherwise
Even with the bit of drifting your lines were better than just about everyone else in that video. Would've given up track days otherwise

I was stood by the desk when they were talking about you drifting. The concencus was that as long as you weren't a danger to others, they didn't mind. One chap said, "he's actually quite good" which sealed the deal and allowed fun to continue.
Why was I told I wasn't allowed out again then? boxsey said:

Thank you and very kind, but I've no idea where to go at Silverstone, if I hit any right lines it was luck more than judgement. Was my first proper track day there. I absolutely love the placeJust tried to keep out of the way of the faster cars and keep the car under control without spinning. Unlike some (that probably weren't black flagged)!!

That looked safe and well controlled. You were polite and careful when overtaking other cars. I struggle to see any problem with your driving. Surely we attend track days to test the limits and enjoy driving in a safe environment in manner not permissible on the roads.
Thanks for comments and couldn't agree more about why we do track days! Gassing Station | Track Days | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
