Backmarker booked in.

Are you arranging the weather again Phatgixer?

The wetter the better please - aquaplaning through Hammerdown is 'an experience'.

Ahh the suns gone down so im now in from basking on my rock

Lizard is out at 'ring couple of days later, so can't really risk throwing the track slaag into the Coombe Armco & not having time to patch the old girl up

Had been tempted for this one to mail you & ask if I could do a couple of laps & give some dosh to 'charidy mate' to do a final check that stuff is all well pre 'ring trip, but knowing my luck I'll only spank it or blow it up, so prob best she stays off track till my return from the fatherland

Without looking through all the previous posts...what's the form for the day (i.e. times for sign-on, briefing, on track, lunch, end of day)?

Sign on at 8.45 to 9.00 and briefing will take place about 9.15. Track open from 9.30 and will have 6 to 8 cars on track. No sessions, just open pit so lots of track time.

It might be worth checking with the circuit if they're open tomorrow. At the PCGB track day there today a GT2 had a major off just before lunch, taking out a length of the armco and supports at the top of Avon Rise. The driver is apparently OK, but the GT2 was totalled. He went through the armco, up the bank and along then back down, with a couple of rolls thown in.

The circuit was closed after this, not sure if the armco will be repaired in time for tomorrow.

Ian

It was open, but there was an Indy F1 style speed restriction around where they were fixing the barriers. Opened up fully at about 11:30 and made the track much more fun & flowing.

We were presented the photos of the GT2 'off' before and during the briefing - not a lot left of it, and the Morgan got off quite lightly.

Some very quick cars there and very quiet on track at all times.

Trackdemon, sorry bud, but last Friday was the last day this year. I may well do some more dates next year and you are welcome to stay at my gaff the night before.

If there are any extra days available this year I might book them. I'll let everyone know.

Great day last week in spite of seeing the wreckage of the crashed GT2 from the previous day in the garage behind the cicuit. The driver was amazingly lucky not to be hurt or worse.

CSL was inspired doing 1m.17s laps two up....

I wish my E36 M3 racer was as fast!

Sorry to have missed this one;
but by the time it was confirmed that my new lower ratio & tightened diff. was in and working OK,
(making sure my Italian car didn't have 5 reverse
and 1 forward gear!!!) all the places had been taken.

I look forward to hearing about the next available
dates ..... when ever they are.
