Yep, i'll definitely be there. Very concerned about the noise issue though

Even if the bimmer is too loud, it'll still be a day out of the office...
Merlin Motorsport are on site at Castle Combe and have the widest range of bolt-on track day silencers you could ever need....

You might just have to put on some supertraps or similar to get out on track.

Nice one Jeremyc, I'll give them a call before the day just in case.

Matt even if you are going slowly as long as you check ya rear view regually & pull to the right on a reasonably straight bit, everyone will be happy clappy & joyful.

overtaking is on the right only at Combe so if everyone could pull to the left instead it would be handy, it's mainly due to the enterance to the pit lance being on the left side of the track so overtake on the right, with consent of course.

And count me in for the day if it is going to be under £150, dont leave too long to confirm though as i will have to arrange a day off work

On the 18th it will be 6 cars at a time that relates to about 8 in reality.

Phatgixer and gang,

Sorry lads, looks like I'm going to have to bow out - too little time and no organisation on my part!
The 350Z needs new tyres, the Curpa R is being chopped in for a Toureg, S2000 man is on holiday and the Caterham is garaged far away.

With a little more time, I will be in with two others.

When is the next one, please?

Car now fettled & recovered from Donny last week & all ready to rock woohoo

So come on PHers, an absolultly blindingly cheap open pit lane day day, with none of the stupid rip off toe rag extra driver fees that get so much on my tits at certain trackday organisers days, plus with the chance for Gix to show you round v quickly & there are only a few takers?

Actually scrub that last paragraph, sod it- stay away, empty track is nice

Quite keen to come along but no suitable car currently and at the other end of the country. May well be up for the July and August dates though when i should have something that doesn't resemble a moving chicane.

Is this track day just for BMW M3s and their like?

I track a slower elderly car,
but I am quite experienced ...

... at getting out of the way!

I see that it's £10 for a passenger but how much extra would it be for a second driver or are they counted as passengers,
and would we be able to buy some tuition?
