DN18 2 Days on the Nurburgring and 1 Day at Bilster Berg !

I know there is already a Destination Nurburgring 2018 thread, but I think this needs it`s own. Those on the DN mailing list will have received the same email as me this morning.
I was already booked on DN18 which is Bank Holiday Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th August. Darren has managed to sort a day at Bilster Berg for the 30th
It`s been one of those circuits I`ve fancied driving for a while but to be quite honest, it`s a long way for just one day and somewhere I knew I`d never go unless I could tag it onto another event in Europe. Man maths means being able to split the journey and travel cost makes it much more affordable than a standalone event
The fact it is under 4 hours from the Ring means I will finish driving on the Tuesday, set off to BB and stop after a couple of hours for something to eat then drive to the hotel somewhere near the circuit. Trackday on Wednesday, stay local Wednesday evening for a meal etc and then drive a steady to the Rotterdam ferry on Thursday.
It has worked out well seeing as my wife is already going to DN18 so the offer of `another night away in a nice hotel with a meal out` sold it. I didn`t mention she`d be standing around whilst I was diving all day
Booking isn`t open yet but it`s on my calendar already.
I`ve watched a few videos and I`m not really sure what it reminds me of ?. A bit of Oulton and Brands GP perhaps ?
